
Day 1 : KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu, traditional welcome representative at TIA “Tribhuwan International Airport” Kathmandu. Transfer hotel, briefing dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : KATHMANDU
After breakfast we begin out holy tours: Boudhanath, Swayambunath and Mahaboudha Patan and Golden Temple. Overnight
Day 3 : KATHMANDU
As usual after breakfast we make an excursion to an important pilgrimage sites “Pharping” Where you will find numerous monasteries. We perform pujas and lunch at the beautiful located restaurant at the Dakchinkali entry ghate. Back to Kathmandu. Overnight.
Day 4 : KATHMANDU – LUMBINI | 195 KM
After breakfast drive to Lumbini. It will be a long drive though 195 km sounds less. It’s due to hilly roads and number of turning makes the drive longer. Most of you will enjoy the drive today. We pass through the paddy rice fields, green hills & banks of wild Himalayan River. We stop the at mid way for our lunch and continue to drive to Lumbni. Finally we touch the holy land Lumbini, where Lord Buddha -the apostle of peace and the light of Asia was born in 623 B. C. Overnight.
Day 5 : LUMBINI
Early morning we visit the holy sites: Sanctum-Sanctorum of the Birthplace, Puskarni - The Sacred Pool, Image of Maya Devi & The Buddhist Temple.
Day 6 : PICK UP LUMBINI – SARASVASTI | 225 KM
After breakfast,We drive to India. Immigration formalities will take about half an hour each for both the side. Continue the drive to Sarasvasti. Arrive Sarasvasti Sightseeing: Sravasti where you will see the extensive ruins of this ancient city & Jetavana Monastery. The legend says, it is here, where Buddha confounded his critics by making them witness a miraculous million-fold self manifestation seated on a thousand-petalled lotus, as fire and water emanated from his body. Overnight.
Day 7 : SARASVASTI - KUSHINAGAR | 169 KM
After breakfast,we drive to Kushinager drive to Kushinager. Arrive Kushinagar, Check in hotel. Sightseeing: Lord Buddha passed away at this place. His last memorable words were, “All composite things decay. Strive diligently!” This event is known as the ‘Final Blowing-Out’ (Pari Nirvana) in Buddhist parlance. Since then the place has become a celebrated pilgrim centre. It was the capital of the kingdom of the Mallas, one of the 16 Janapadas. Overnight.
Day 8 : KUSHINAGER – PATNA | 195 KM
After breakfast continue our journey to Patna. We stop at VAISHALI on our way to Patna. It was in Vaishali that, the Buddha announced the approaching of his Mahaparinirvana. During one of his visits here, the Buddha was offered a bowl of honey by a monkey. This incident is mentioned as one of the eight great events in his life. Overnight.
Day 9 : PATNA – BODHGAYA | 105 KM
After breakfast we drive to Bodhgaya. It is here, Prince Gautama attained enlightenment under the sacred Asvatta tree (Bodhi tree) and became known as Lord Buddha, the enlightened one. Overnight.
Day 10 : BODHGAYA
After breakfast full day visit, holy sites like Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana, Chankaramana, Arimeshlochana., Ratnagar and Monasteries from different Buddhist groups from different countries like: Sri Lanka, Thailand, Burma, Tibet, Bhutan and Japan Overnight.
Day 11 : BODHGAYA- VANARASI | 195 KM
After breakfast we drive to Varanasi is one of the oldest cities of India. This city has found place in the Buddhist scriptures as well the epic of Mahabharata. Varanasi is also called 'Kashi' or the city of spiritual light. Kashi is the place where Shiva and Parvati stood when the "time started ticking". Overnight.
Day 12 : VANARASI
Early morning we take boat ride on Ganges, we can catch the sight of local devotees take holy shower on the river. Later we visit golden temple and Barat Mata Temple back to hotel, have breakfast sightseeing Saranath. Afternoon relax. Overnight.
Day 13 : VANARASI – KATHMANDU
After breakfast, free stay morning after lunch transfer airport for flight to Kathmandu. Overnight.
Day 14 : DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer airport for departure.
